This certificate serves as a mark of excellence based on rigorous national and European standards, that validate and demonstrate the systems fitness-for-purpose.
BBA certification has long been seen as a stamp of approval providing third party assurance for housebuilders looking for trusted and tested products or systems for their housebuilding developments.

Meeting requirements of the 2024 NHBC Technical Standards update
In response to a significant uplift in the use of solar PV, the NHBC announced more stringent requirements in the 2024 Technical Standards update. As roof integrated solar systems are classified as products that perform critical fire-resistance and weatherproofing functions, the new standards now include the requirement to demonstrate an acceptable level of durability, and that the life expectancy should be confirmed by an independent technical approvals authority.
Unique to the Marley Group, this BBA certification included an assessment of the durability of the complete solar system, including the panels, fixings and flashings, and confirms the lifetime of the product is equivalent to the roof structure with which it is applied.

The Agrément Certificate 24/7280 relates to the Marley SolarTile® 410 range – a system of solar panels and associated compatible flashing kits.

Environmental Product Declaration
As a manufacturer, we feel it is important to offer transparent environmental performance data for our products. Our solar EPD is available to allow for informed decisions to be made on the environmental impacts of our product on building specifications.
CCPI Approved Product
Marley SolarTile® is one of the first products in the UK market to carry the CCPI mark, helping to provide assurance to product specifiers and end users, that the information provided by Marley for the products is clear, accurate, accessible, up-to-date and unambiguous.
Fire Certification
Marley SolarTile® has undergone extensive fire testing to ensure its safety and compliance with building regulations. It has achieved a BROOF (T4) classification under European standards (EN 13501-5), indicating high resistance to flame spread and fire penetration.
