The specialist area advises on insulation for both new build and retrofit projects
Stone wool insulation manufacturer, ROCKWOOL has bolstered its technical resources, with a new Social Housing Resource Hub. The area makes it easier for specifiers to access the latest information and advice on specialist insulation solutions for social housing, helping them create comfortable and safe properties that improve the lives of residents.
The new Social Housing Resource Hub brings a wealth of technical information into one place giving stakeholders access to product data and benefits, case studies and direct links to further helpful resources at their fingertips.
In particular, the area features a comprehensive retrofit solutions section, exploring products such as the manufacturer’s non-combustible ventilated cladding insulation that also provides excellent thermal and acoustic performance.
Through the new Resource Hub found at rockwool.com/uk/social-housing-hub, stakeholders can also find an approved System Holder that is accredited to install ROCKWOOL EWI insulation and find out more about the company’s OEM recycling scheme for waste material generated on site.
Paul Barrett, Head of Product Management at ROCKWOOL said:
“Social housing specification can be complex whether a new build or a retrofit scheme. That’s why we’ve developed a suite of resources to help social housing stakeholders find the right product for each application, and ultimately improve the lives of tenants.
“This new hub will help those involved in the construction or upgrading of housing – whether a single home or a high-rise development – find what they need quickly and easily.”
The ROCKWOOL Social Housing Resource Hub is the latest addition to the manufacturer’s suite of technical information. Additional Resource Hubs include Flat Roofs, Ventilated Facades, HVAC and passive fire protection. All hubs can be accessed from rockwool.com/uk/resource-hubs
