Typically installed to conceal external pipework, such as gas supply pipes and low carbon distributed heating system pipework, our metal pipe boxing is also used to conceal pipework and systems associated with ground source or air source heat pumps.
Bespoke manufactured from corrosion resistant 2mm thick aluminium to the requirements of each individual project, the boxing also has a PPC finish, which can be selected from a wide range of BS and RAL colours to contrast or blend in with the surroundings.
In addition to exterior applications, metal boxing is also used on interior social housing projects, where fire sprinklers are installed, to conceal runs of pipework where there are no sprinkler heads. As the boxing is non-combustible, it can aid compliance with fire safety requirements.
A choice of fixing methods is available with the option of either an integral flange or using concealed angle brackets.
