Lincolnshire Housing Partnership (LHP) is celebrating a significant milestone after its telecare monitoring service achieved Technology Enabled Care (TEC) accreditation for the tenth consecutive year – helping people across Lincolnshire live safely and independently in their homes.
Delivered through a long-standing partnership between LHP and Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire as ‘Lincolnshire Telecare Service’, the service integrates a range of technologies, such as remote monitoring and emergency alarms, supporting people to live confidently in their own homes while giving loved ones peace of mind that help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The service operates through a Digital Lifeline – a small device that plugs into a mains power socket and runs off a SIM card – which connects users to a dedicated monitoring centre when help is needed. Additional features include wearable alarms and regular wellbeing calls, providing medication reminders and friendly check-ins to support overall wellbeing.
The Lincolnshire Telecare Service recently underwent a full audit under the TEC Services Association Quality Standards Framework.
The independent assessment highlighted the service’s “outstanding compliance” in all 12 critical criteria areas, including user and carer experience and service safety, regularly reviewed protocols, and strong governance.
Call handlers were praised for exceptional service during live call observations, showing their strong safeguarding knowledge, strong relationships with service users, and calm, effective responses. Meanwhile, technicians demonstrated best practice with quality and compliance when installing equipment in residents’ homes.
Angela Cragg, Customer Service Centre Team Leader at LHP, said:
“Achieving the TEC Quality QSF certification for the tenth consecutive year is an incredible milestone for our service and a testament to the dedication of every member of our team.
“This decade of continuous accreditation reflects not only our commitment to delivering safe, reliable, and compassionate support, but also our drive to innovate and evolve with the needs of our customers.
“We’re extremely proud of this achievement and grateful to our colleagues, partners, and service users who place their trust in us every day.”
