Home Team, the specialist repairs and maintenance subsidiary of Govan Housing Group, has expanded its commercial footprint after securing £200,000 worth of new contract wins with three Glasgow-based housing associations.
The newly awarded contracts reinforce Home Team’s position as a trusted delivery partner across Glasgow and the west of Scotland, and will see the provision of grounds maintenance, fabric inspections and essential property repairs for Cernach Housing Association, Elderpark Housing Association and Provanhall Housing Association.
The new agreements cover a range of upkeep and care services across all three housing providers, led by a new five-year contract with Provanhall Housing Association starting in September 2026. This long-term agreement will cover essential property upkeep for all Provanhall homes, including routine roof inspections, gutter cleaning, anchor tests and general day-to-day repairs.
Alongside this, Home Team will look after outdoor spaces for both Cernach Housing Association and Elderpark Housing Association through grounds maintenance contracts running until March 2027. These arrangements cover grass cutting, hedge trimming, and weed control across all properties for both providers.
The wins build on a period of strong operational growth for the Home Team, following the successful first year delivery of a five year £760,000 window replacement programme for Govan Housing Group’s traditional tenement stock.
