Following the success of last year’s ‘one day, three conferences’ approach, the Property Care Conference 2026 has dedicated programmes for Preservation (Damp and Timber), Structural Waterproofing and Invasive Plants.
Taking place on Thursday 12 November at Leicester Tigers Stadium, the event boasts twice the exhibition space compared to last year’s sell-out expo area, alongside a packed programme of expert speakers and will conclude with the PCA Awards Dinner in the evening.
Lisa Nieddu, PCA’s Events Manager, said: “Last year’s event was a huge success, and bringing our membership together offers excellent opportunities to network with peers, exhibitors, colleagues, industry experts and speakers.
“With more exhibition space and a packed programme events for each of the three conferences, the day is set to be informative and engaging, providing members with an opportunity to share ideas and knowledge, network and learn.”
The event will begin with delegates from all three conferences coming together to hear from keynote speaker, Richard Harral, Chief Executive at the Chartered Association of Building Engineers.
Richard will share an overview on the new competence requirements introduced by the Building Safety Act and their impact on the building and environmental professions.
The three separate conference programmes will then begin with a variety of discussions, speakers and activities throughout the day.
The Damp and Timber Conference will take an international perspective on one of the industry’s biggest challenges, with delegates hearing from experts in the USA and Austria about how they approach damp problems, together with a panel discussion on ‘The mould crisis: Helping people or chasing profits?’
An interactive ‘Let’s Get Talking’ session will feature at the Structural Waterproofing Conference, discussing a number of case studies, debating possible responses and sharing solutions in a collaborative knowledge exchange.
The Invasive Weeds Conference will focus on practical management and the challenges faced at a regional and European level, with discussion around rapid response strategies and what to do about bamboo?
Innovation will also take centre stage with an Invasive Plant Innovation Den, where speakers will present alternative approaches in a series of fast-paced, ten-minute presentations.
Lisa added: “The PCA conferences have a well-established pedigree of providing information and insight on key topics as well as emerging opportunities and challenges within each sector, and this year’s agenda maintains that tradition.
