Polypipe, the UK’s leading manufacturer of plastic sustainable drainage and water management products, has launched two new products to form an access system to be used in conjunction with its Polystorm Geocellular range.
Allowing easy vertical and horizontal access respectively, Polystorm Access and Polystorm Inspect feature tunnels specifically designed to permit inspection points to be built into a Polystorm Geocellular structure for remote camera inspection and maintenance activities.
“As forward-thinking manufacturers we are continuously expanding our product offering to align with our customers’ requirements,”
explained Emma Nicholls, Marketing Communications Manager at Polypipe.
“We appreciate that some of our customers have a preference for accessibility to be built into a water management system. Therefore, after much research and development, we are delighted to introduce Polystorm Access and Polystorm Inspect to our family of Geocellular solutions.”
Polystorm Access provides a 1m by 0.5m shaft within a Polystorm geocellular structure to allow surface access for remote camera inspection, flushing and rodding.
Polystorm Inspect is a modular cell, incorporating a large tunnel to provide access along the length of a Polystorm geocellular structure, allowing maximum field of vision from remote camera heads whilst maintaining system performance and structural integrity.
Both products can be used in conjunction with each other to provide both horizontal and vertical access simultaneously.
The lightweight nature of the access system brings many benefits to projects including ease of handling, speed of installation and low transportation costs.
Both Polystorm Access and Polystorm Inspect use the same shear connectors and clips as the existing Polystorm range and are designed to work as part of a complete system.
