KMS are pleased to announce that we have been appointed on the Northern Housing Property Safety & Security Framework for Residential Access Control and our SimpleKey Web solution. The Framework is the commercial arm of the Northern Housing Consortium was established as a result of a procurement exercise that covers a range of areas including the design, supply, install, certification and maintenance of CCTV, Door Entry & Access Control, Intruder Alarms and Lightning Protection Systems.
The Framework allows the Consortium to collaborate with members to develop specifications and tender document for each Framework and select fair and suitable suppliers accordingly.
The scope of the Framework has been made flexible enough to include ongoing changes to Member Organisations requirements, changes to legislation; and importantly the inclusion of innovation and access to new products to the market. As a result of the tender process, 27 suppliers have been appointed to the Framework of which KMS are one.
There are numerous benefits to clients of the Framework of which including the following:
- Procurement is increasingly litigious, however this is removed when purchasing through the Framework.
- Save Time, Money and Resources, this collaborative approach supports social values meaning suppliers can focus their resource on delivering a high-quality service to their clients.
We will be working closely with the Consortium over the coming months and will be attending their events to give members access to our team, face to face.
