A revolutionary dynamic balancing valve will eradicate common issues experienced in Underfloor Heating systems when it is launched in the UK.
Set to revolutionise balancing issues experienced in multi residential or multi room applications, the Series MH underfloor heating manifold from Watts UK will simplify hydraulic balancing and flow control in radiant heating systems delivering energy savings and comfort for users.
Dave Raynor, Product Manager Watts Water Technologies UK said:
“This product has been developed to eliminate issues which have been prohibitive to the efficiencies of underfloor heating systems, particularly those that are in multi room or multi residential settings,”
“In situations where variances in temperature, performance or pressure have been experienced this heating manifold will give specifiers and installers greater control over commissioning and ongoing maintenance through its simple controls.”
The manifold which can be specified as part of a new build project, or successfully retro-fitted, as part of an entire underfloor heating system allows the flow rate in each circuit to remain constant. This will stop the fluctuation experienced in other manifolds where changes in demand require constant balancing of the individual loops which often consist of differences in length and diameter giving different flow and pressures resulting in a fluctuating unbalanced system. Series MH displays the actual flow on the flow meters integrated in the manifold. Hydraulic balancing of the system takes just three easy and time efficient steps and can be carried out during the commissioning of the system.
“Drawing on our extensive product knowledge, this new manifold will deliver greater efficiencies for underfloor heating systems and improve performance and consistency and more simplistic commissioning,”
“Once the system is operational Series MH will maintain constant pressure in the manifold to deliver a constant flow rate in each heating loop delivering energy saving benefits and optimum temperature distribution.”
