Reducing homelessness in the UK – MP to dicsuss new act

The Homelessness Reduction Act became law in April, you will likely see increased duties placed on public bodies in the coming months to help prevent homelessness.

As a result of these developments we shall be hosting CPD-certified one-day training course; ‘Identifying and Reducing Homelessness’, taking place on Tuesday 30th January 2018 in central London, the course will provide you with a practical insight and industry best practise on how to tackle homelessness in communities.

Drawing on inspiration and case studies from across the country Kevin Hollinrake MP, and Member of the Communities and Local Government Committee will be delivering a session and offer greater insight into how the bill will support the work already being undertaken by local authorities, housing associations and charities across the country.

Take this opportunity to network with peers and identify how best to establish a coherent plan for delivering effective intervention and prevention strategies.
