Materials 2017: 5 days to go

Speakers from across industry, academia, & more to drive conversation

5 days remain until Materials 2017 – the new conference and exhibition focused entirely on materials for architecture, construction, and design – makes its debut at the ILEC Conference Centre, Earls Court, London on the 25 and 26 April.

Keeping the needs of the specifier in deep consideration, the show’s conference has been designed as a series of enquiries into each material used in architecture and construction.

Humble essentials such as stone, brick, and glass will be discussed alongside more contemporary solutions like smart materials, biomimetic materials, and low-carbon alternatives, hollowing out their various functionalities and looking beyond their primary purposes.

A wealth of qualified expert speakers from both industry and academia will share their thoughts and observations on the materials that they pioneer through RIBA accredited CPD seminars and conference talks. See the full list of conference and seminar talks at www.materials2017.co.uk.
