A north London site originally planned for private housing will instead provide 56 affordable homes.
The scheme, Kingwood Nurseries in Enfield, will be delivered instead of a 56-unit private residential project that never materialised and comprised just eight affordable homes.
Andrew Main, Executive Director of Business Development at Paradigm Housing Group, said:
“We are delighted to be able to use this site to help people get a foot on the property ladder.”
Kingswood Nurseries, worth £15m, will feature 48 shared ownership and eight affordable rent homes with parking and cycle storage as well as new access roads and associated landscaping.
Developer Bramble Estates worked with land agents Aston Rose to secure the site for Paradigm. Howarth Contractors is delivering the scheme, with completion scheduled for 2020.
